Choose from five OS datasets depending on the scale, detail and format your project requires:
OS 50k Raster Tiles (1:50,000) - Georeferenced GeoTIFF colour raster tiles at national mapping scale. Ideal for strategic planning, large-area GIS mapping, and regional analysis. The most accessible entry point for county-wide OS raster data.
OS 25k Raster Tiles (1:25,000) - High-resolution georeferenced GeoTIFF tiles at the detail level of OS Explorer mapping. Suited to GIS applications, planning projects, and land analysis where greater detail than 50k is required.
OS 10k Raster Tiles (1:10,000) - The most detailed OS raster dataset available at this scale, supplied as georeferenced GeoTIFF files. Integrates seamlessly with GIS and CAD systems and is well suited to site-level planning and detailed land analysis.
OS VectorMap Local (VML) Tiles (1:10,000) - Fully customisable vector mapping data at 1:10,000 scale. Unlike raster tiles, VML data allows you to control styling, editing and analysis in your GIS platform. The right choice when you need to manipulate or style the underlying mapping data.
OS Terrain 5 (T5) Tiles — Elevation and contour data for Great Britain supplied as a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) with elevation points at 5m spacing and contours at 5m intervals. Essential for 3D modelling, flood risk analysis, environmental assessment, and any project requiring accurate terrain data.
